2022 will forever be remembered as the season that saw Felix Auger-Aliassime go from final flop to vicious closer. The Canadian, who was 0-8 in ATP finals entering the season, has now won four of five ATP Finals in 2022 – including two at the 500-level. It’s a giant step for a 22-year-old who has always demonstrated massive potential on tour, but never could figure out how to turn his abundance of talent into titles.

This season, he has done it, and along the way, achieved some incredible statistical feats.

A rare three-peat

Auger-Aliassime becomes the third player to win three consecutive titles on tour since 2011. Andy Murray and Casper Ruud are also in the club.

Unbroken en route to the title

Auger-Aliassime held serve in all 51 of his service games in Basel, making him just the third player to run the table at a tournament without dropping serve this season. He joins Nick Kyrgios (Citi Open) and Taylor Fritz (Eastbourne) on that lofty list.

Dating back to last week, Auger-Aliassime’s streak of consecutive service holds now stands at a remarkable 75 holds!

13 on the trot

Auger-Aliassime has now reeled off thirteen consecutive victories in the last four weeks, bringing his 2022 record to 53-24. That win total is the highest that the Canadian has ever achieved in a single season. Auger-Aliassime is now tied for second on the list for ATP titles in 2022:

ATP Titles, 2022:

Alcaraz, 5
Djokovic, 4
Nadal, 4
Rublev, 4
Auger-Aliassime, 4
