Armando Broja has said that he has a ‘massive opportunity’ at Chelsea after signing a new six-year contract this summer.
The Albanian was linked with a summer move to West Ham United, but manager Thomas Tuchel intervened to keep him.
Broja eventually penned a new six-year deal, but he is now working under a different manager, who has barely started him.
Speaking in today’s press conference, the youngster said that the decision to commit his future to the Blues was not a gamble.
He said: “No. I see it as a massive opportunity for me. This is my boyhood club. I want to do my best and give it my all to break into the starting line-up.”
Potter has started Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Kai Havertz up front in the last two games. Broja is set to lead the line tomorrow.
The game against Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League is a dead-rubber, but Broja has the chance to impress Graham Potter.
