Chelsea quoted £88m fee to sign Portuguese star

Chelsea will need to pay around £88m to sign AC Milan winger Rafael Leao at the beginning of the New Year.
The Blues were hot in the pursuit of the Portuguese last summer, but Milan had no plans of losing their player.
The Rossoneri were taken over by RedBird Capital Partners in late August and they did not want to sanction Leao’s exit.
However, the scenario could change at the turn of the year with the 23-year-old yet to commit to a new long-term contract.
Leao has no plans of extending his stay beyond next season and Calciomercato claim that he could leave in January.
Chelsea will reportedly need to pay around £88m to convince the Rossoneri to part ways with Leao in the next transfer window.
The Portuguese has been in fine form for Milan this campaign. He has registered seven goals and nine assists from 20 games.
Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with his services recently, but they are unlikely to spend big amid Financial Fair Play concerns.
