Giovani Lo Celso to join Aston Villa?

Tottenham midfielder Giovani Lo Celso could be set for a transfer to Aston Villa. The attacking midfielder has impressed whilst on loan at Villarreal, and newly appointed manager Unai Emery could raid his former club next summer to sign Lo Celso on a permanent deal.
Lo Celso arrived at White Hart Lane for a mouthwatering 60 million euros, but was shipped out to Villarreal after failing to impress former manager Jose Mourinho and current Spurs boss Antonio Conte. The signs are that Villarreal will not be able to afford the reported 30 million euros that Spurs are looking to recoup from a Lo Celso sale, but Aston Villa most certainly can, and Emery will make a move for the 26-year-old as soon as possible.
Villarreal has been good to Lo Celso, and Lo Celso good to the Yellow Submarines, having helped the team to European glory with a Europa League title.
Unai Emery has been brought to Aston Villa to rebuild and kickstart a miserable campaign, but the Spaniard will be expecting finances to fund transfers for many new faces to truly make this Villa side his own.
