Manchester United have been linked with a stunning move for Bayern Munich striker Eric Choupo-Moting, as per Media Foot.
The Cameroon star has netted eight goals from just 13 appearances for Bayern this season. He has also chipped in with three assists.
It has been a tremendous season so far for the 33-year-old but he could leave Bayern when his contract expires in June next year.
Amidst this, it is reported that United are very keen on his services and could negotiate a free transfer for him next summer.
It is added that the Red Devils see him as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who is eager to part ways with the club soon.
The story comes as a surprise, considering Choupo-Moting has never been a frequent scorer. He has barely netted 10 goals per season.
It is probably agent-driven in order to persuade Bayern to extend his deal for a couple of more seasons with an improved wage package.
