Man Utd want to sign Bayern Munich striker?

Manchester United are reportedly determined to sign Bayern Munich striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting during the winter transfer window.
The Red Devils currently have three strikers in Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Cristiano Ronaldo, but the latter could leave in January.
Instead of pursuing a high-profile replacement, United prefer a low-cost option and Sky Sport Germany claim that Choupo-Moting is on their radar.
Choupo-Moting has been a revelation for the German champions this term, registering 10 goals and three assists from just 14 appearances so far.
His current contract with Bayern expires in the summer of 2023 but United are hopeful of prising him away at the beginning of the New Year.
It remains to be seen whether such a move materialises. Bayern would not want to lose Choupo-Moting midway through the current season.
Furthermore, the 33-year-old has no reason to leave Bayern amid his sublime form and may end up signing a new contract with them.
United’s interest could be agent-driven to land him a renewal.
